MISSION –  The Engineers’ Foundation of Kansas will be a source of support for the educational and ethical practice needs of engineering students, engineering educators and practicing professionals.

VISION – The Engineers’ Foundation of Kansas is committed to:

Expand the public awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the role and value of engineers in improving the quality of life;

Enhance the image of and stature of engineers;

Demonstrate the diverse face of engineering;

Promote engineering as a desirable and rewarding career;

Increase the number of students who pursue a career in engineering; and

Advance the quality of engineering professionals.

Goal 1: Broaden the organizational structure of EFK.
 

Goal 2: Increase awareness of EFK.
 

Goal 3: Increase the financial support for the programs undertaken by the Engineers' Foundation of Kansas.
 

Goal 4: Generate interest in and awareness for the field of engineering both as a college major and a profession.
 

Goal 5: Transcend the engineering capabilities of individuals through education.
 

Goal 6: Develop programs to assist pre-college educators teach young people about engineering
 

Goal 7: When requested provide support to improve and further develop the capabilities of individual professional engineers through
continuing education
